The type of pipe bending machine you need is determined by the pipe bending process and materials.
The pipeline is installed on the pipe bending machine, and the pipe is tightly fixed between the clamping and bending molds to prevent sliding. The tube is also fixed by a swab and a pressure mold to provide additional support. The swab mold is made of soft alloy (i.e. aluminum) to avoid damage such as scratches and overturning
Mechanical force is applied to the pipeline or pipe to move forward along the mold.
The shape of the mold is also used to determine the configuration and curve radius of the pipeline, and the force applied to the pipeline on the mold forces it to follow the mold construction. For certain processes, a mandrel is placed inside the pipeline to prevent wrinkles and creases from forming during the bending process.
